Course Description

Indian Cooking | Explore ingredients and culinary techniques from India. Recognize the basics of Indian cookery and presentation. Prepare regional favorites such as beef vindaloo, tandoori chicken and shrimp with spiced masala and coconut milk. $85+ includes $40 fee. Note: Students must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

Learner Outcomes

Identify ingredients used in Indian cooking; Recognize the importance of mise en place, getting ingredients together, being prepared; Demonstrate the safe usage of professional kitchen hand tools and utensils; Demonstrate proper kitchen safety and sanitation procedures; Develop culinary skills.
