Metal Art Fabrication | Explore basic and advanced techniques and processes related to metal fabrication and sculptural forms. Learn welding techniques, metal forming, and a variety of metal surface applications. Create conceptual artworks with metal art techniques, and practice processes including metal casting. $457 includes $85 fee Note: All sections also offered for credit, ART-138.

Learner Outcomes

Discuss historical and cultural applications of metal art fabrication; Produce sculptural compositions using variety of metals art fabrication, techniques and processes; Apply recommended studio safety guidelines; Select tools and equipment settings to safely wild, cut, and shape metals; Identify structural and aesthetic properties of metals to critique and produce metal arts.
