Course Description

QuickBooks: Computerized Accounting Basics and Beyond | Explore management, and bookkeeping and accounting principles using QuickBooks. Create and design customized reports and forms. Prepare a budget and interpret financial statements. Learn to create and use invoices, accounts receivable and payable, specific charts of accounts and payroll processing reports. Textbook information available at AACC bookstore. CEUs issued. $285 includes $35 fee. Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and Microsoft Windows.

Learner Outcomes

Apply the fundamentals of accounting to develop individual business bookkeeping and accounting needs; Explain how to create and use accounts receivable and payable and create and use business reports, specific charts of accounts, and payroll processing reports; Create and design customized reports and forms; Complete and interpret financial statements and demonstrate how to prepare a budget; Identify solutions for common errors regarding invoices and payments, incorrect balances, and practice editing or voiding transactions.
