Course Description

Develop upper-level language skills. Practice vocabulary building, effective reading and writing, and strategies for listening and speaking. Engage in interactive activities while exploring a variety of contemporary topics. Strengthen grammar skills. Textbook information is available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs issued. J-1 visa holders can request a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course.

Employ appropriate listening and speaking strategies to enhance interpersonal and professional communication; Apply advanced reading and writing techniques to improve comprehension and expression of ideas; Practice advanced grammar forms and functions to strengthen use of key language structures; Analyze word forms to build vocabulary in order to interpret and evaluate information in multiple contexts.
