Course Description
Prepare to teach ESL students in community and workplace settings; learn the theory of the communicative language teaching approach and its application to second-language teaching and learning; explore best practices and pedagogical debates around teaching various language skills (e.g. reading, listening, etc.); discuss assessment techniques and classroom management; learn to develop and execute a lesson plan. Note: Must be 16 years or older. ENG-101 eligibility is strongly recommended.
