Course Description
Develop the skills to teach grammar to English language learners. Explore debates over the proper role of grammar instruction in the ESL classroom. Analyze the distinction between inductive and deductive approaches to grammar instruction. Learn error correction techniques. Develop grammar lesson plans. $160 includes $10 fee. Note: Students should be enrolled in or have completed ESL-380: Introduction to Teaching ESL prior to registering for ESL-383: Teaching ESL/EFL Grammar. ENG-101 eligibility is strongly recommended.
