Course Description

Bartending | Master the fundamentals of mixing drinks to become a successful bartender. Learn about bar preparation, beverage recipes and customer service. Review safe practices. CEUs issued. $395 includes $122 fee. Note: Must be 21 or older to enroll. Students must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

Learner Outcomes

Discuss the history of beer, wine and spirits; Demonstrate how to set up a bar, properly use equipment and utilize effective sanitation techniques; Prepare various drinks using standard cocktail recipes; Identify problem customers and apply effective alcohol awareness techniques; Demonstrate competency in basic bartending skills.
