Pursue a career as an electrician and provides instruction on electrical fundamentals. Topics include switches, receptacles, luminaires, box fill, series circuits, track lightning, parallel circuits, underground installation, special purpose outlets, counter mounting cooking units, and heating and air conditioning.Learner Outcomes
Describe the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for switches; Recognize the construction and connection of receptacles by identifying each receptacle and it's National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA) designation; Recognize the purpose, operation and installation of a luminaires; Identify Ohm’s Law formulas for series circuits; Design a layout of the living room and the bedroom for study circuits using specifications and the NEC requirements.Loading...
