Course Description

CompTIA A+ Certification Exam Prep | Prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Review basic computer hardware, operating systems, PC components, networking, security, laptops and printers. Learn how to install, configure, secure and troubleshoot these items plus customer service and communication skills. Course materials are included. CEUs issued. $1,691 includes $537 fee. Note: Exam vouchers included. Once registered, if you cannot attend the course, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than five calendar days prior to the course start date in order for a refund to be issued. Learner Outcomes

Identify hardware components and various interfaces and explain their purpose; Evaluate and select appropriate components for custom configuration; Identify types of network cables and connectors; Explain the differences between the various printer types and summarize the associated imaging process; Install and configure laptop hardware and components.
