Course Description

CompTIA Network+ Certification Exam Prep | Learn foundational computer networking and network security principles and practices while preparing in part for the CompTIA Network+ Certification Exam. Course materials are included. CEUs issued. $1,470 includes $374 fee. Prerequisite: Knowledge of operating systems and hardware or CompTIA A+ certification required. Note: Exam voucher included. Once registered, if you cannot attend the course, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than five calendar days prior to the course start date in order for a refund to be issued. Submit completed drop forms by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at a registration site. Drop forms not received within the time frame listed above will be not processed; no refund will be issued.

Learner Outcomes

Explain the functions and applications of various network devices and employ the basics of network theory and concepts; Implement a troubleshooting methodology; Establish appropriate security elements to ensure network availability and optimum performance; Set, monitor, and maintain wired as well as wireless networking environments; Prepare, in part, for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam.
