Dental Assisting and Radiology: Lecture | Learn the basic skills necessary to become an entry-level dental assistant. Define dental anatomy, terminology, instruments and infection control procedures. Prepare for the Dental Assisting National Board's Radiation Health and Safety exam. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs issued. $688 includes $92 fee. Prerequisite: High School Diploma. Corequisites: OPA-371 Dental Assist and Rad-Skills Lab. Note: English as a second Language students must earn a composite score of 310 or better on the Level of English Proficiency exam, or successfully complete Capstone Level ESL coursework. Note: Additional cost for Dental Assisting National Board Exam for the Radiation Health and Safety exam. Additional cost for teal scrubs and shoes.
