Course Description
Intermediate MIG Welding Certified Training | Prepare material and perform fillet and groove welds in carbon steel in all positions. Practice geared toward structural welding code vertical and overhead tests. Passing the certification tests provides an all-position limited thickness AWS D1.1 welder certification. CEUs and Earlbeck Certificate of Completion issued. $3,025 includes $2,612 fee. Prerequisite: OPT-394 Fundamentals of Welding Certified Training or permission of instructor. Note: Must be 18 or older to enroll. Fire-retardant pants, shirt, hard-toe boots and safety goggles required. Bring GMAW workbook and welding gear to class. Perform safety inspections of welding equipment and accessories; Organize welding equipment and materials for various welding processes; Demonstrate fillet welds in all positions on carbon steel material; Demonstrate groove welds in all positions on steel material; Perform 3G and 4G positions on 3/8" plate for the welders certification test.Notices
