Introduction to Craft Skills | Learn basic safety, materials handling, introduction to construction math, hand tools, power and tools. Learn about construction drawings, basic communication skills and basic employability skills. $910 includes $35 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Evaluate risk assessment techniques for job sites; Demonstrate the use and care of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Recognize potential hazards and follow safety procedures required for materials handling; Utilize metric units to determine length, weight, volume and temperature; Recognize and identify basic hand tools and their proper use.
