Course Description

Design Market Art: Ceramics | Learn how to design, produce and market completed ceramic designs. Discover painting/glazing techniques as well as market strategies. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Explore media techniques and processes to enhance the expression of ideas through artworks; Analyze, interpret and evaluate the quality of artwork utilizing appropriate principles; Demonstrate a verbal-working use of key vocabulary terms relating to the arts; Examine marketing leadership principles required to succeed in the selling of ceramics; Develop a marketing strategy for selling ceramics.
