Course Description

Module 2 Family Child Care Pre-service Training: Curriculum | Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans following basic curriculum guidelines for multiage grouping. Identify important content areas and learning standards. CEUs issued. $70 includes $10 fee. Note: Online course. Fulfills the MSDE/OCC training requirements for family providers.

Learner Outcomes

Identify and discuss the strategies necessary to provide a safe, healthy environment; Design activities which promote each child's physical skills; Plan developmentally appropriate activities that promote children's cognitive, language and social/emotional development; Create activities that help children learn positive and acceptable social skills.
