Course Description

iPad Basics | Learn how to use the iPad and its various features. Discover how to navigate the multitouch interface, set up an email account, type with the onscreen keyboard, and set up and maintain a calendar. Practice using FaceTime video calling, texting with iMessage and sharing photos. Note: Bring your own Ipad.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate the ability to power up the iPad and navigate the multitouch interface; Create an email account, type with the onscreen keyboard and browse the internet; Operate the multimedia features to take photos and videos, create a custom slideshow, read e-books, use FaceTime video call and text with iMessage; Explore the possibilities of expanding the iPad's functionality by searching, downloading and purchasing applications; Manage contacts and appointments utilizing the calendar.
