Course Description

iPhone Basics | Optimize your ability to use the many features of your iPhone. Create an Apple ID, an iTunes account, adjust your settings, browse the web using Safari, set up email and learn how to add apps. Note: Students must bring their iPhone. Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate the ability to set up an iPhone with an Apple ID and navigate the multitouch interface; Create an email account, set up and manage contacts and type with the onscreen keyboard; Operate the multimedia features to take photos and videos and share them using various features such as iMessage or email; Explore the possibilities of expanding the iPhone's functionality by searching, downloading and purchasing applications; Create an iTunes account and play music.
