Course Description

Floral Design: Design Applications | Explore a variety of design applications. Practice techniques that will add creative flair to floral compositions. Analyze compositions to identify stem placement techniques. Determine proper stem insertion and location of growing point(s), use of line to create movement and use of space to create open form and transparency. Create compositions using design applications. Prerequisite: FLR-351Floral Design: Principles of Design, CFD® designate from AIFD, or instructor permission. $270+ includes $110 fee. Note: Suitable for continuing education credit for AIFD®. Students must bring tools (floral knife, pruning shears and wire cutters) to class. Flowers will be delivered to students home.
