Course Description

Kids in the Kitchen | Enhance culinary skills in a professional kitchen while learning and preparing new dishes. Learn culinary vocabulary and techniques to wow your family and friends. Talk about food and kitchen safety, food presentation and the best way to serve and eat. Apron will be provided. $358+ includes $104 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Learn basic kitchen safety rules and define cooking terminology; Learn basic measurement skills and kitchen sanitation rules; Practice basic knife skills; Work as a team to follow directions accurately in recipes; Prepare and serve a variety of recipes.

Notices

If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than five calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites. Drop forms not received within the time period required above will be processed, but no refund will be issued.
