Course Description
Advanced Robotics | Program a robot to overcome challenges using visual and text-based programming. Control the robots sensors and maneuver around obstacles. With a teammate, apply coding concepts while using scientific methods to formulate, observe, experiment, test and modify the robot. Campers work will be available through a password-protected Black Rocket website. $236+ includes $168 fee. Note: In Partnership with Black Rocket Productions. Note: This is a Kids in College course. Students will learn the basics of programming a robot using a visual based programming language; Students will use scientific method to formulate, observe, experiment, test and modify their program; Students will learn how to incorporate multiple sensors with different purpose to program and control robot behavior; Students will how to compete in challenges using cooperation with teammates; Students will create simple programs with a text-based programming language to control their robot.Notices
If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued.
