Course Description

Intermediate Spanish 2 | Increase fluency in Spanish through intensive grammar presentation and review, conversational practice, composition and reading. Examine traditions and values of the Hispanic culture. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. $183 includes $10 fee. Prerequisites: LGE-395Beginning Spanish 1, LAU-305 Beginning Spanish 2, LAN-367 Intermediate Spanish 1 or instructor's permission.

Learner Outcomes

Identify traditions, customs and values of the Hispanic culture; Practice using the preterite indicative regular, irregular verbs and reflexive verbs in conversation; Practice stem-changing verbs correctly in sentences; Conduct conversations using level appropriate grammatical structures including narrating story details; Demonstrate an oral proficiency and understanding of level appropriate spoken Spanish.
