Course Description

Spanish Conversation | Build on vocabulary, comprehension and conversational skills gained in LGE-395: Beginning Spanish 1 and LAU-305: Beginning Spanish 2. Develop language skills beginning with brief sentences increasing complexity to short dialogues in a relaxing and fun atmosphere. $183 includes $10 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Practice intermediate-level Spanish phrases, sentences, and questions focusing on diction and comprehension; Communicate in Spanish using a menu, street signs, calendars, maps, and seasons of the year; Write intermediate-level sentence structures in Spanish; Identify and comprehend idiomatic expressions particular to certain regions of Spanish-speaking countries; Recognize and discuss important characteristics of Spanish culture and civilization.
