Course Description

Basic Korean | Sample the Korean language and culture. Practice vocabulary and simple phrases for basic everyday conversations. Prerequisite: LAN-389 Korean for Beginners recommended or instructor permission. $103 includes $10 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Recite and repeat basic greetings and responses used in everyday conversation; Practice vocabulary and pronunciation to describe dining out, household items and money; Identify numbers one through one hundred and recognize dates and times in Korean; Communicate the use of action verbs in simple commands; Discuss Korean culture, history, and traditions.
