Course Description

Beginning German 3 | Improve grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills gained in Beginning German 2. Participate in free-flowing conversation in a small group setting. Explore German culture. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs issued. $183 includes $10 fee. Prerequisite: LAN-384 Beginning German 2 or instructor's permission.

Learner Outcomes

Explore new vocabulary words describing methods of transportation, daily activities and tasks, giving and receiving directions, weather, sports, restaurants, and holidays; Communicate with proper usage of the German Das Perfekt, present tense and future tense; Identify and use the Akkusativ and Dativ, and practice the use of coordinating conjunctions und, oder, denn, aber and sondern; Practice German language skills and increase vocabulary by conversing in a series of small group conversations; Identify traditions, customs and values of German culture.
