Course Description

Beginning Italian 2 | Strengthen pronunciation and grammar skills while expanding vocabulary. Acquire Italian phrases, idiomatic expressions and the ability to ask and answer basic questions. Discuss reading and translations. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. CEUs issued. Prerequisite: LAN-390 Beginning Italian 1. $183 includes $10 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate knowledge of proper grammar with verb conjugations; Initiate a simple conversation with questions and answers using 'Dove', 'Che', 'Chi', 'Perché', 'Come', and 'Quant'; Practice using adjectives to describe and compare people and things; Communicate basic verbal and reading comprehension skills in Italian; Discuss Roman and Italian culture and civilization.
