Course Description

Conversational French | Practice asking and answering questions - dialogue at a French market and in a restaurant. Explore travel from the United States to Paris, Provence, Normandy and Bordeaux and other regions. Examine French castles, the kings and queens, French culinary, wine, arts, designers like Coco Chanel, and famous impressionists like Monet and French singers like Edith Piaf. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate communication skills at an intermediate level; Discuss verb forms in complete sentences; Demonstrate ability to converse in French; Apply language development skills by discussing a variety of topics in French; Demonstrate knowledge of French language concepts and idioms.
