Course Description

Beginning Spanish | Learn basic Spanish grammar and pronunciation. Study the proper use of verbs, idioms, objectives, plural forms and become familiar with Spanish and Latin American culture and geography. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate an understanding of grammatical principles; Apply knowledge of Spanish language to basic reading, writing and listening skills; Discuss the history and cultural characteristics of Spanish speaking countries; Recite basic phrases and simple sentences in Spanish.
