Course Description

Carpentry 1 | Learn basic woodworking skills and tool safety. Practice using electrical tools including table saws, circular saws, routers, drills, power sanders and jigsaws. Construct a medium to large wood project. CEUs issued. $270 includes $75 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate an understanding of estimating required materials for a medium to large wood project; Demonstrate proper usage of selected hand and power tools; Demonstrate an understanding of constructing a project using detailed plans; Discuss the key elements of safety and protective equipment.
