Life Out There? Somewhere? | Where beyond Earth might life exist? What might it be like? Does it have evolved intelligence? Developed technology? Can we communicate with it? What should we say? What are the consequences of discovering life beyond Earth? $33 includes a $32 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Explore how our understanding of the origin of life on Earth affects our view of life elsewhere; Examine where life might exist in the Solar System and to what extent it may have evolved towards intelligence; Discuss the discovery and characterization of exoplanets and what that means for the possibility of life beyond earth; Compare habitable zones and habitable planets around other stars and how environmental conditions affect the origin and evolution of exoplanet life; Discuss the implications of life on other worlds and the possible consequences of communication with other intelligent lifeforms.
