SAT/ACT Preparation: Verbal | Prepare for the critical reading and writing sections of the SAT and the reading and science sections of the ACT. Refresh your knowledge of verbal topics and learn test-taking techniques. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. $127 includes $89 fee. Note: Online course. Students must purchase the latest editions of The Official SAT Study Guide, (Official Study Guide for the New SAT) and The Official ACT Prep Guide: Official Practice Tests + 400 Bonus Questions Online.

Learner Outcomes

Describe the make up and structure of both the ACT/SAT exam; Explain a strategy to effectively approach the reading for comprehension passages found in the ACT/SAT exams; Apply an expanded vocabulary using grammar rules; Organize and write a cohesive and interesting essay; Examine graphs and charts accurately in order to extract information for the ACT science questions.
