Course Description

SAT/ACT Preparation: Quantitative | Refresh your math knowledge and learn test-taking techniques. Review arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics as well as strategies for answering the student-produced response questions on the SAT. Textbook information available at AACC Bookstore. $127 includes $89 fee. Note: Online course. Offered in partnership with ed2go. Students must purchase the latest editions of The Official SAT Study Guide, (Official Study Guide for the New SAT) and The Official ACT Prep Guide: Official Practice Tests + 400 Bonus Questions Online.

Learner Outcomes

Demonstrate basic understanding of math essentials such as multiplication, division, exponents and fractions; Demonstrate knowledge of standard algebra and algebra II including variables, factoring and functions; Describe trigonometry topics including sine, cosine, tangent and trigonometric reciprocals; Demonstrate knowledge of the standard multiple- choice math questions and how to answer questions that don't give answer choices to select from.
