Course Description
Japanese Anime 101 | Examine Japanese-style animation, from its introduction to American culture more than 30 years ago to the present. Explore animes content, symbolism and culture. $205+ includes $37 fee. Note: This is a Kids in College course. Check section notes for age requirements.
Learner Outcomes
Students will gain understanding of Japanese history and culture; Understand the process of creating animation; Recognize the impact that Anime and Japanese culture has had on pop culture; Gain the skill to draw their own comics.Notices
If your child cannot attend a course or camp, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course or camp start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites.
