Course Description

Focus on strategies, information, and advice for your face-to-face class from AACC colleagues and includes interactive demonstrations. These strategies are effective with high school students and positively impact all students in the classroom helping them connect with the course content as well as building community in class by developing positive relationships with classmates and instructors. Build a toolbox of cooperative learning and engagement strategies that can be tailored to any content area. Discuss how active engagement strategies lay the foundation for creating a class community where diversity, equity, and inclusion are celebrated. Participate in strategies that can be used to engage dually enrolled, traditional, and non-traditional students.
