Course Description

AI Adventures: Introduction to Machine Learning | Explore the world of artificial intelligence to design fully interactive games and experiences using cutting-edge technology. Use artificial intelligence with coding to construct machine learning models that use image and text recognition within block-based coding software to build a portfolio of projects. $236+ includes $161 fee. Note: Student-created projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website. Students work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Learner Outcomes

Discover block based coding language and study introductory concepts within Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and Machine Learning (M.L.); Learn how to train A.I. models that perform text and image classification; Analyze A.I. models, measure results, and make necessary improvements to strengthen the success of their A.I. models; Apply boolean logic to create gamified project environments; Participate in a variety of coding challenges to make interactive projects and minigames that incorporate the A.I. model(s) they create in class.
