Course Description
Examine an overview of the current state of religious accommodations throughout higher education in the United States, including a description of the latest research findings, a review of recent state-level legislative changes, and a tour of outstanding issues relating to these policies. Topics include key takeaways for managing student accommodation requests both inside and outside of the classroom, advice on how current policies could be improved, and ideas on how to make their classes and syllabi more inclusive for students from marginalized religious, secular, and spiritual identity (RSSI) backgrounds.
