Course Description

Study the principles of strength conditioning, aerobic conditioning and cross training. Learn fitness testing, how to determine body composition, injury prevention and identification, plus marketing, motivation and designing individual fitness programs. Includes certification exam. CEUs issued. $119 includes $89 fee. Note: Offered in partnership with American Aerobic Association International/International Sports Medicine Association. Required materials are not included. Learner Outcomes

Discuss the principles of strength and aerobic conditioning; Assess the principles of cross training; Describe fitness training and its relationship to body composition; Explain how to identify and prevent common injuries; Design a custom fitness program using free weights, energy resistance and cardiac conditioning.
