Course Description
Examine the materials, styles and shapes of American-made ceramics and glass from 1700 to 1870. View the Winterthur collection which includes stoneware, earthenware, porcelain ceramics and blown, pressed, engraved, three-mold glass. Discuss the historical timeline of these treasures. $131 includes $56 fee. Note: Transportation included. Extensive walking required. Participants must be able to walk and stand for hours without assistance. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the outdoors. Bring a bag lunch or purchase on own.Learner Outcomes
