Writing a Résumé for a Federal Job Create a résumé for a federal job application. Learn the difference between a federal résumé and a private sector résumé and learn the techniques to ensure your résumé is aligned with the pre-determined criteria for a federal job announcement. $56 includes $10 fee.

Define the federal application process and list two ways a federal resume differs from a private sector resume; Identify the resume format requirements and name three criteria required by USA Jobs when listing work experience and qualifications for a federal job announcement; Discuss what to reveal in a resume and what not to reveal and explain two ways to overcome gaps in work history; Write a cover letter, and a statement of career goals; Evaluate, revise, edit and proofread a resume.
