Entry Level Driver Training Theory | Prepare for the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration Commercial Learners Permit. Learn about safe operating procedures, vehicle systems and controls, and nondriving activities. CEUs issued. $2,150 includes $1,835 fee. NOTE: Must be 18 or older and possess a valid driver's U.S. license to enroll. Includes textbooks and instruction. Students must meet with program manager prior to registration. Demonstrate understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; Discuss vehicle instruments, controls and safety components; Describe best practices required for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and its impact on highway safety and operational efficiency; Identify advanced operational and control skills necessary to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle including hazardous conditions; Explain non-driving activities that may impact safe operations, including trip planning, driver hours of service, cargo handling, and accident procedures.Notices
