Course Description

Pre-Apprenticeship HVAC Training Part B | Learn entry-level HVAC skills. Examine air movement and its measurement in air distribution systems. Explore types of steel pipe and fittings. Demonstrate procedures for soldering copper tubing. Employ mathematic calculations including geometric principles and algebraic processes to estimate, measure and lay out materials. CEUs issued. $982 includes $294 fee. Corequisites: CIT-307 Pre-Apprenticeship HVAC Training Part A, NRN-332 Heartsaver CPR/First Aid and OPA-354 Workforce Success Skills. Note: Cost includes instruction, textbook and supplies. There are additional costs for NRN-332, HeartSaver CPR/First Aid and OPA-354 Workforce Success Skills.
