Course Description

Henna Regional Styles and Folklore | Study a few regional henna styles and learn to recognize each style based on the artistic characteristics. Create three works. Learn the composition of henna paste and what you need to know to identify safe henna ingredients. All supplies provided. $40 includes $15 fee.

Learner Outcomes

Discuss the earliest areas where henna art was discovered; explain henna's movement across the globe; analyze historical events and their impact to the henna industry; Demonstrate henna designs by regional style, cultural elements, symbolism and composition.
