Course Description

Apple Spotlight: Settings for iPhone and iPad | Become familiar with settings to make certain you get the most out of your iPhone and/or iPad, including setup for accessibility features. Discover how to check on your device and iCloud storage, and tweak settings to your preference. Note: Senior Cycle fee class. Students must be 55 years or older by start date in order to enroll in this class.

Learner Outcomes

Identify the 8 key settings required to personalize an iPhone and iPad device; Implement Face ID or Touch ID; set a custom passcode to protect data; initiate accessibility features. Navigate restoring and transferring information; Locate the device storage capacity; Explain the steps to set-up privacy settings for blocking and filtering messages

Grading: Students will receive a Y if they attend the class and an N if they do not. Attendance: Students must attend 60% of the instructional time of this non-credit CEWD class to pass. Class participation: Students are encouraged to participate in this CEWD class.
