Course Description

Native Plants, Shrubs, Perennials and Pruning | Explore the benefits of native plants, shrubs and perennials in the landscape. Learn where to purchase natives and how to prepare your soil, plant in communities and prune your natives to promote a sustainable landscape. $62+ includes $10 fee. 

Learner Outcomes

Identify the benefits of planting native trees, shrubs, and perennials in the landscape. Outline the steps necessary to shop and prepare your landscape for a native garden. Describe what native combinations work well when designing your landscape. Discuss when to prune your natives, how to prune and how to do fall cleanup of a native garden.
