Course Description

Italian Conversation | Build upon vocabulary, comprehension and conversational skills of the Italian language. Develop additional language skills by beginning with brief sentences increasing in complexity to short dialogues in an encouraging atmosphere.

Learner Outcomes

Practice intermediate level Italian phrases, sentences, and questions focusing on diction and comprehension. Communicate in Italian discussing the weather, directions, hotel and restaurant dialogue, and Italian travel destinations. Demonstrate knowledge of Italian language concepts and idioms through small group discussion. Increase vocabulary and practice Italian language skills by asking and answering questions about travel in Italy and in the Vatican State. Demonstrate an understanding of Italian culture and summarize two unique Italian customs.
