Course Description

So Simple Sewing 3 | Build upon acquired sewing skills and learn how to create projects using a pattern. Practice using a pattern, measuring and cutting. Complete one project in class to take home. $102+ includes $20 fee. Prerequisite: WMI-336 So Simple Sewing, WMI-364 So Simple Sewing 2 or permission of instructor. Note: This class will construct an apron.

Learner Outcomes

Name the best practices for choosing and sourcing sewing patterns; Describe and identify three symbols found on the sewing pattern; Demonstrate pattern adjustments and pattern layout; Measure and cut the pattern as required; Construct a project using the pattern provided and demonstrate the proper sewing techniques.
