Course Description

Explore the art of analog film photography and darkroom techniques. Develop your personal vision through a series of projects that emphasize photography as a form of creative expression. CEUs issued. $432 includes $60 fee. Also offered for 3 credits as ART-121. Note: Students are required to provide photographic printing paper and film. Having a film camera is not required.

Learner Outcomes

Produce black and white photographs using light sensitive materials including film and paper; criticize the quality of black and white silver gelatin prints; describe the aesthetic and conceptual properties of black and white photographs; evaluate images based on form and content.
