Course Description
Examine the life and times of American heiress Marjorie Post, a 20th century business icon, and the spectacular Georgian-style mansion filled with historic art, and 18th-century French decorating style. Explore the historical formal gardens and outdoor rooms designed by Innocenti and Webel. Presite lecture is followed by a docent tour of her Washington home. $95 includes $48 fee. Note: Transportation included. Extensive walking required. Participants must be able to walk and stand for hours without assistance. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for outdoors.
